Turkey to Seville, Spain: The EUROTOX meeting will be held on the same
dates between 4th to 7th September, 2016 with the same scientific program.

IUTOX Extends the Deadline for Executive Committee
Nominations to April 18: The IUTOX
Nominating Committee, chaired by Immediate Past-President, Daniel Acosta, Jr.,
has begun its work to assemble a slate of candidates for consideration by the
member societies at the IUTOX General Assembly during the
14th International Congress of Toxicology. The candidates elected on
October 5, 2016 in Merida, Mexico will serve on the Executive Committee for the
2016 – 2019 term. The election process is detailed below as defined by the
number of days leading up to the IUTOX General Assembly:
270 days (by January 9, 2016)
Elaine Faustman, Secretary-General, issues a call for nominations requesting that Member Societies submit a completed nomination form (attached) and a short CV for the offices of President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary-General, Treasurer and five (5) Directors. Please send all nominations to Dan Acosta, Chair of the Nominating Committee by April 1, 2016. (Now extended to April 18, 2016) 150 days (by May 8, 2016)
Chair of the Nominating Committee will provide a provisional slate of names to the Secretary-General. 120 days (by June 7, 2016)
Member Societies (in groups of 3) may make additional nominations to the Secretary-General. 90 days (by July 7, 2016)
Secretary-General sends the final list of nominees to the Member Societies. 30 days (by September 5, 2016)
Member Societies may vote by secret ballot via postal or email ballot OR may vote at the General Assembly. The IUTOX leadership thanks Dan Acosta and the Nominating Committee for
their service in this important duty.
